Fan Wei, Shenyang Native, is a famous comic actor in China, he was awarded the "Top Ten Outstanding Youth of Liaoning Province" in 2003, and the Best Actor in Montreal 2004 Film Festival while the Chinese film "The Parking Attendant in July" won the Grand Jury Prize at the Montreal Film Festival in Canada.

1978	Began to study performance with Chen Lianzhong as his advisor in Shenyang music and art group
1980	Joined Liaoning Tieling Folk Arts Group after examination to study Cross-talk performance, used to be the lead actor in comic series "who resembles who", "Bride for lease" etc.
1983	Accepted by Shenyang Music and Arts Group through examination to further stydy, main cross-talk works are: "Trouble by Nothing", "Bitten by Oneself", "Inspiration by Heros", "In the Fifties", "Chasing back the Debt". And the crosstalk "Chasing back the Debt" was awarded the first prize in performance and second prize in script in the First China Cross-talks Festival.
1991	Sit-com (sketch) "Worries" won the starring award in the First Folk Arts and Sketches Contest of the Northeast three Provinces
1993	Sit-com (sketch) "Thief's Adventure" won the starring award in the Second Folk Arts and Sketches Contest of the Northeast three Provinces
1995	Began to co-operate with the Famous Comic Actor Zhao Benshan and performed many times in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala Night. Performances such as "Uncle Niu was promoted", "Three Lashes", "The Red Sorghum Model Team", "New Year Greetings", "Mai Guai", are greatly welcomed by the national audiences.
