The Shenyang shaolin martial arts school, founded in December 1st, 1990, is situated on the west part of Shenyang East Tomb, the school land area is about 10,550 square meters, and the construction floor area is about  7,000 square meters. It is a special comprehensive school with enrollment from at home and abroad.

Zhao Shuhua, president of the school , acknowledges Shi Yongxin as her teacher who is the Shaolin Temple abbot in SongShan mountain. She is a Buddhist disciple, the name in religion is ShiYanGu. For her excellence, she has been awared the titles of "Shenyang outstanding teachers", "the advanced workers", "3.8 red flag holder" of liaoning province, "the prominent woman in the constructible career" successively. Zhao Shuhua is also the president of Shenyang Tae Kwon Do association. 

The total investment of the school is approximately 15.7 million Yuan from 1990 to 2005. The classical architecture dormitories occupy 1,328 square meters, also the dining room can contain 600 people taking  meals at the same time.

The school holds 50 microcomputers, one comprehensive gym occupying a space of 1,200 square meters, one Wushu(Martial Arts) gym occupying 300 square meters, the universial teaching building occupies a land area of 1,800 square meters. The school was equipped with the store, the hotel, the hygienic clinic, the office building, the bath center, the boiler room, the transformer room, the water supply, warm up equipments are from the South Korean geothermies completely.

The martial arts equipments and the competition location are multi-functional. The school holds internationally disperses hits competition standard arena, the international Tae Kwon Do competition standard cushion, the international martial arts competition standard rug, many kinds of performance clothing, attire stage prop and so on.

The school has 62 teaching and administrative staff, including 3 assistant directors. There are 14 senior teachers, city level outstanding teachers and 16 the high-level trainers. The trainers are elected from the provincial level professional group and sports colleges. 

Ever since that school started, 4500 students have graduated, 600 students still studying in the school. Many of the students now are serving in the armed police, the liberation army, the sports colleges and universities, the safety and security department, business unit etc.

The students frequently participate in international, national, the province and the city-level games, the martial arts championship and so on, and the studnets have won champions, the second prize, the third winner more than 400 person-times. 

The Shenyang shaolin martial arts school raises the national well-known and excellent top athlete. There are Liu Chuang, Li Qi, Ge Peng, Yan Ying, Tang Hua, Chen Fei, Song Xijiang, Dong Defu, Han Yu, Zheng Fuli, LiDa, Liu Wenhua, Shao Chuanguan, He Tianjin, Li Xiaojiang and so on. Among them Chen Fei and Ge Peng win the Champion the second place separately in the international Tae Kwon Do invitational tournament which holds in US. Liu Chuang, Li Qi and Ge Peng separately obtain 58 kilograms levels, 67 kilograms levels, 70 kilograms levels champions five years continuously.

Liu Chuang participates in the Hong Kong "the world first session of Tae Kwon Do championship tournament" in 1997 and obtained 58 kilograms level bronze medal. This is the best result of Chinese men at present. As his excellent performance, Liu Chuang received the national leader Li Ruihuan's kind interview.

The Shenyang shaolin martial arts school was named by the national martial arts center as "the national martial arts advanced school" in 1996. And in 1997, the school was awarded as "the spiritual civilization unit" by the Dongling district party committee and area government. In 2000 it is evaluated "Chinese trustworthy school", in March, 2003 it is authorized as "the Liaoning Province young people Tae Kwon Do training base" by the Liaoning Province sports bureau athletics center.

The Shenyang shaolin martial arts school has build up a cooperative relation of many years with Liaoning team, the Beijing team, the liberation army team, the Chongqing team, the Shanghai team, the Guangdong team, the Wuhan sports institute, the Capital Sports university, the Shenyang sports institute and also transported large quantities of undergraduate students as well as the top athlete every year for them.

The Shenyang shaolin martial arts school has a specialized performance group. When it comes to Labor Day, Children's day, each kind of opening ceremony, the singing star's concert, the spring and autumn large-scale games opening ceremony, the school carries on the commercial character performance.
