Shenyang Institute of Physical Education was established in1954. We have 7 specialties including Physical Education, Sports Training, Traditional National Sports, Sports Sociology, Sports Marketing, Sports Performance and Sports Body Science. We have staff with expertise. They have built up extensive links with universities, research organizations and public bodies. We can offer undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses.

In 1998, our student Miss Xu Nannan, won a silver medal in 18th Winter Olympic Games .

Our school has set up relationships with 17 universities throughout the world, expanded academic exchanges and research cooperation. Overseas students have been coming for study since 1994.
